1How to ask
Email hello@medtrainit.com with the adult purchaser’s name, account email, order reference and a description of your request. We may verify your identity before discussing account or payment details. We give a reasoned decision and any remedy the law requires.
2Your 14-day statutory cancellation right
2.1As a distance contract for services and digital content, your normal cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which the contract is entered into (the day we confirm your place following successful payment). We give you the cancellation information before purchase and again in your confirmation. You can cancel by a clear statement to hello@medtrainit.com, or by using the model cancellation form at the end of this policy. If you cancel in this period before any digital access has begun and before live services have started, you receive a full refund.
2.2Digital platform access. If you ask us to give the learner immediate access to the digital platform within the 14-day period, we will ask you to (a) expressly consent to that immediate supply and (b) acknowledge that the cancellation right for the digital content is lost once access begins. We record these two steps separately — not through a single “I accept the Terms” tick. If we do not obtain them correctly, we do not rely on the exception and you keep the right.
2.3Live services. If you expressly ask us to begin live services within the 14-day period, and we have told you that a charge may apply if you then cancel, we may keep a proportionate amount for the services actually supplied up to the point you cancel, and refund the rest. Any such amount is assessed fairly by reference to the live services actually delivered against the full programme, in line with your statutory cancellation rights; it is not calculated from the £159 voluntary-withdrawal figure in clause 3, which is a separate customer benefit. Opening the digital platform does not, by itself, make the whole £459 non-refundable. If we did not tell you a charge could apply, we do not charge for those services.
3Voluntary Guided withdrawal — £159
This is an additional benefit we offer, over and above your statutory rights. It is not a separate product and is not a price.
3.1If you no longer wish the learner to take part in Guided live teaching, you may ask to continue with medtrainit digital-platform access only.
3.2If we receive your request before the published commencement time of the first substantive live subject-teaching session for your confirmed cohort (as stated in your purchase confirmation, in the time zone shown there), you are entitled to a voluntary partial refund of £159, provided you choose to keep the existing digital-platform access. This is an entitlement once those conditions are met, not something we may refuse.
3.3Once this is confirmed, the learner’s entitlement to future Guided teaching and Guided support ends, while digital-platform access continues until the expiry date in your original purchase confirmation. Orientation or application-readiness sessions already delivered before subject teaching begins are genuine services that were provided; taking part in them does not remove this offer, but they are not treated as if they never happened.
3.4This arrangement does not limit any statutory cancellation right or any remedy available where digital content or services are defective, materially misdescribed or not supplied as promised. Where applicable law entitles you to a greater refund or a different remedy, that takes precedence.
3.5Withdrawal after substantive live subject teaching has begun is assessed under these Terms and your statutory rights. Any further voluntary refund is at our discretion, exercised fairly and consistently.
4Service failure or misdescription
If we materially fail to supply paid teaching, cancel a promised element without an adequate alternative, supply faulty or misdescribed digital content, or fail to exercise reasonable care and skill, we will assess replacement, rescheduling, a price reduction or a refund as appropriate. Nothing here limits non-excludable consumer remedies. A learner’s failure to attend a class they could reasonably access does not by itself create an entitlement to a private replacement.
5Free trials, duplicate charges and local rights
A free trial involves no charge. Duplicate charges or payments taken in error are corrected after verification. Mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, including India or the UAE where applicable, takes priority over any inconsistent wording. Earlier buyers keep the terms and rights that applied to their historic purchase.
6How and when refunds are paid
Where a refund is due following a valid statutory cancellation, we reimburse the amount the law requires without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to cancel. For an agreed voluntary refund outside the statutory cancellation rules (including the £159 voluntary withdrawal), we process the refund within 14 days of confirming the arrangement. Refunds are made to the original payment method through Stripe, and we do not charge a fee to process a refund the law or this policy requires.
