Terms of Sale & Service

medtrainit IMAT · Version 6.4 · Effective 29 October 2026. These Terms apply to new orders placed after that date and do not change the terms of earlier orders.

1Who we are

medtrainit IMAT is a product of Edtrainit Ltd, registered in Scotland (Company No. SC887286), registered office 21 Fleurs Place, Elgin, Moray, IV30 1ST, United Kingdom. “We” means Edtrainit Ltd; “you” means the adult purchaser; “learner” means the named student using the service. Our authoritative contact for sales, support, legal and complaints matters is hello@medtrainit.com.

2Adult purchasers and learner accounts

2.1Only a person aged 18 or over who can lawfully enter a contract may purchase. An adult learner may buy for themselves. Where the learner is under 18, only their parent or legal guardian may purchase, must be the billing and contractual contact, and confirms at checkout that they hold that authority.

2.2A learner is a named user. A licence or live-teaching place may not be shared, resold or transferred. Paying for a learner’s account does not give the purchaser automatic access to that learner’s private answers or detailed progress analytics (see our Privacy Notice).

2.3We may apply proportionate checks to confirm age or parental authority where the law requires it, particularly for learners in India or the UAE. A free trial does not bypass child-safety rules, and a person under 18 cannot activate a trial without an adult. Where a jurisdiction requires verification before activation, access may be held until it is completed.

3What you are told before you buy is binding

The product, cohort, price, any tax, order date, start date, access-expiry date, teaching dates and total teaching hours, and other material inclusions shown in your checkout order summary and confirmation email form part of your contract. Information we give you before you buy — including on the product page — is also binding where you rely on it, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides. We will not use the checkout to quietly remove a promise made on the sales page; if something needs to change before you pay, we will tell you and obtain your agreement to the change.

4The Guided IMAT Preparation programme (£459)

4.1The Guided IMAT Preparation programme is £459 total (including VAT where applicable), as shown on the product page and confirmed in your order summary. It is a single programme at one price that combines a named learner’s access to the medtrainit digital platform with a cohort schedule of live educational services; it is not the separate £339 consultancy licence.

4.2Digital platform: syllabus-organised learning and revision content, original practice questions, practice and mock-style tests, predetermined feedback linked to answers, follow-up practice, and educational progress and error-pattern information.

4.3Live teaching: the 2027 programme includes live sessions across February to August 2027 — orientation, application-readiness, 12 weeks of subject teaching, application and registration guidance, and intensive revision. The subject teaching is a guaranteed minimum of 15 hours of live group instruction, normally delivered as 12 weekly group classes of about 1 hour 30 minutes (around 18 hours in total). The orientation, application-readiness, intensive-revision and immigration-information sessions are in addition to that minimum. Session dates and durations are in your order summary and schedule; breaks are not counted as instructional time.

4.4Immigration-information sessions: the programme includes two group immigration-information sessions delivered in English by an Italian lawyer, covering general guidance only. They are group information sessions, not individual legal advice or representation, and do not create a lawyer-client relationship unless a separate engagement is entered into. [insert the lawyer’s name and professional registration]

4.5Subject-question support: we aim to provide a first substantive response to subject-related questions within two UK working days. Where more time is needed, we will tell the learner and provide a reasonable follow-up.

4.6Official IMAT application fees, university fees, visa charges, translation or legalisation costs and third-party professional services are not included unless your order expressly says so.

5Access period

Digital access for the 2027 programme runs until 30 October 2027, as stated in your order summary before payment. This single date governs; we will not describe the same access as both “12 months” and “until October 2027”. This is time-limited access, not an automatically renewing subscription. The expiry date stays fixed even if the IMAT examination date moves, unless you expressly agree to a lawful change. Access for earlier historic purchases is governed by their original terms.

6Registration, payment and confirmation

6.1Registering interest or submitting academic information does not create a paid place and takes no payment. A place is confirmed only after we offer it, you accept these Terms, and payment completes through our official Stripe checkout. We never ask purchasers to transfer funds by personal WhatsApp message or to a personal bank account.

6.2The advertised amount is due as shown at checkout. Instalments apply only where the checkout expressly offers them. No staged or additional payment obligation is created unless it is shown at checkout before you pay.

6.3We send the purchaser a durable electronic confirmation showing the product, total amount, supplier identity, access dates, teaching hours, key services, cancellation information and any express immediate-access consent given. Please check it and contact us promptly if anything is wrong.

7Free trial

Where offered, a free trial allows limited personal evaluation with no card and no payment obligation. Its content and duration may differ from paid access. A trial does not reserve a Guided place, guarantee teaching access, or authorise anyone under 18 to purchase or to activate it without an adult. Our Privacy Notice applies to any trial data.

8Live sessions, timetable and attendance

8.1Live sessions may use Google Meet or Zoom; the joining information identifies the provider. Learners use their own link and behave respectfully. A learner who misses a scheduled session does not automatically receive a private replacement.

8.2If we cancel or materially reschedule a paid session, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a substantially equivalent replacement within the cohort; if a material part cannot be provided, your statutory remedies remain available. We give reasonable notice of material timetable changes and avoid changes that substantially reduce what was bought.

8.3We do not record sessions by default. Recording or streaming by participants is not permitted without our prior written permission. If we propose to record, we will give advance notice of purpose, audience and retention and apply any needed privacy safeguards. Other participants may see a learner’s chosen display name and anything they share.

9Immigration and application guidance

Information on the IMAT, university applications, visas and residence is educational and time-sensitive. Criteria, quotas and deadlines are set by public authorities and may change. The group immigration-information sessions explain general processes; they do not create a lawyer-client relationship or guarantee a visa, admission, enrolment or legal result. Obtain individual professional advice for your own circumstances where needed.

10Educational feedback — what it is and is not

Our tools apply predetermined, question-specific rules to the answers a learner selects and calculate educational progress. They are designed to help a learner identify avoidable error patterns, understand incorrect answers and practise more effectively. They do not diagnose a learner’s thinking with certainty, confirm that a concept has been mastered, or guarantee a score, fewer negative marks, a particular mark improvement, an admission or a visa — those outcomes are outside our control. Any scorecard or dashboard shown in marketing is illustrative and labelled as such.

11Intellectual property and permitted use

The platform, original content, questions, explanations, designs and protected software belong to Edtrainit Ltd or its licensors; third-party and academic material remains its owners’ property. You receive a personal, time-limited right for the named learner to use the service. It may not be shared, resold, bulk-scraped, publicly reproduced, recorded, or used to build a competing product from our protected materials. Nothing here excludes rights the law makes non-excludable.

12Suspension and conduct

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent serious security abuse, unlawful activity, bullying, harassment, a safeguarding harm or repeated material misuse. Unless immediate action is needed for safety, law or security, we will explain the concern and give a reasonable opportunity to respond or correct it. Any suspension or termination is subject to your mandatory consumer and privacy rights.

13Cancellation and refunds

Your cancellation and refund rights, including your statutory 14-day right and the voluntary £159 Guided-withdrawal benefit, are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We do not apply a blanket “no refunds after login” rule. Where a paid element is defective, materially misdescribed, undelivered or below the required standard, your remedies remain available. Consumers in India and the UAE keep their mandatory local protections.

14Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee exam scores, university decisions, visa outcomes or other third-party decisions, and we do not exclude liability where exclusion would be unlawful.

15Complaints, governing law and changes

15.1For a customer-service complaint, email hello@medtrainit.com or write to our registered office. We will acknowledge it within five working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days; if we need longer, we will tell you why. If we cannot resolve it, we will tell you whether an approved alternative dispute-resolution scheme applies and whether we agree to use it; you keep your right to go to court. Complaints about personal data follow our Privacy Notice (acknowledged within 30 days).

15.2These Terms are governed by Scots law, but that choice does not remove the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you are habitually resident. Our India and UAE supplements apply where relevant. We may change future offers or correct errors; we will not retrospectively reduce an existing paid entitlement without a lawful basis and an appropriate remedy.
